API for Search and Rescue useNov 04, 2019 05:32 PM
I am the developer of the (Free) SARTrack software package for Search and Rescue, and Emergency management.
I have been working on this for the last 12 years, and it is used all over the world.

Aside from the Management side, the system can decode a range of Radio and Satellite trackers, including AIS, all this *direct* without any external plugins required.

I have been asked by a US SAR organisation to add an interface to be able to decode FirstNet tracking data.

However, I do not see any direct information on how my system can access the FirstNet data, either via an Internet API (Not recommended in real emergencies) of by connection to a local device, which receives the tracking (and possible 'SMS' data) for the selected organisation.

Any information is welcome.

Bart Kindt
CEO & developer
SARTrack Limited
http://www.sartrack.nz
